Winfield Couple Arrested for Manufacture of Controlled Substance
A Winfield couple was arrested yesterday and charged with the manufacture of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrests were the culmination of several complaints against the retired Airforce officer and his stay at home wife.
Jeremy Shane Frederick, 39, and Amy Lynn Guin Frederick, 38, are Marion County natives who currently live in Winfield. As of Thursday night, both Jeremy and Amy Frederick are free on bond.
Addenda: PNS has received several communications from the Fredericks. According to Mr. Frederick, he and his wife were booked on incorrect charges and he had no idea what manufacturing or paraphernalia were, therefore, he didn't object. His attorney, Scott Hunt, is working on having the charges corrected. Also per Mr. Frederick, DHR has cleared the family of any negligent or abusive behavior toward their children. As is our policy, if these charges are dropped or changed, we will be happy to publish a correction.
