Kalynn Grace Turnbow Safe
Update: Late Monday, Kalynn Turnbow's father turned himself into Dickson County authorities. No charges were filed against Jason Bradford who has requested a custody hearing. At the center of the debate was Bradford's ability to care for the paraplegic child.
Until last Thanksgiving, four year old Kalynn Grace Turnbow was a typical little girl. That changed with the accident that claimed the life of Kalynn's mother and left the little girl paralized from mid abdomen down. Kalynn's maternal grandmother took over the day to day care of the child, but in early April the little girl suffered a broken leg and was admitted to Vanderbilt Hosptial in Nashville.
It was from there that Kalynn's biological father allegedly took Kalynn. It's now been a month since the grandmother has seen Kalynn or 44 year old Jason Bradford, who lives in Slayden, Tennessee. Bradford has been openly posting on Facebook, and Kalynn looks happy and well as of April 29th. This weekend, TBI issued an endangered child alert.
Bradford is 6'1'' and weighs about 198 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. If you think you have seen the pair or have other information, call the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND. (1-800-824-3463).
