New Subpoenas Issued in Jessica Hamby Case


Jessica Hamby has been missing 50 weeks, and many feel the investigation into her whereabouts has been going in circles for some time. Now things may change. 

Until now, three agencies have been involved in the search for the young unmarried mother: Winston County, Marion County, and the Hackleburg Police. That changed last week when ALEA issued ten subpoenas in the case.

For some time the investigation has centered around a Hackleburg business Edwards Truss. Three suspects have been openly named by authorities: Eric Edwards and siblings Alicia and Derek Motes. It's believed that these three plus members of the Edwards family are under intense scrutiny by the state's top law enforcement agency.
