DeKalb County Cop in Hot Water over "Bomb Threat"

Jeff Buckles of Fort Payne is the assistant police chief in the small DeKalb County town of Geraldine...at least for now. His Facebook posts indicate that he is an avid Trump supporter, but now he may have gone too far.

After the State of the Union speech, Buckles posted on social media a comment that appeared to advocate for a road side bomb to take out Pelosi and other "Dumbocrats." This remark was construed as a terrorist threat by many, and now Buckles will be having a meeting with the Geraldine mayor and police chief. It may not end well for Buckles.

The assistant chief laments how divided this country is in his posts, yet he asks for bombs, not prayers. Interesting.

No matter our political leanings or lack thereof, can't we have just a little more civility?
